Tree Planting Initiatives

Tree Planting in schools, communities in Kasese District in partnership with the Church& CARITAS

In partnership with the government, we resettled the internally displaced individuals of Kasese who had been residing near River Nyamwamba. they received essential support, including psychosocial assistance, food, and clothing. Furthermore, they are provided with guidance on how to adapt to their new surroundings and live in harmony with nature.

Centenary Foundation, in collaboration with the Church, CARITAS, and other faith-based organizations, is transforming lives in Uganda through tree planting, humanitarian efforts, and WASH initiatives across Kasese, Tororo, and 19 additional dioceses of the Catholic Church. By engaging internally displaced individuals to mitigate flood risks and empowering women through Village Savings and Loan Associations, as well as financial literacy training, the Foundation is fostering community resilience and promoting sustainable livelihoods
